Posted another Morris update. The family is continuing to grow, never thought I'd keep it up this long but I am interested to see if I can make it to the end, would love to see the 10th generation and compare them to dear old Gabe!

The last 5 parts to Dark Shadows has been posted! I'm happy yet sad this is over, I'm thrilled to have finished something but I will miss telling these two kids' story. I am going to finish the simfic50 challenge but am taking a break first, so look out for more later! I'm not sure what sim stories hold for me after I finish the challenge, I have a few planned out but I really want to focus on the stories I have to actually publish first. Status Update

Just popping in to say I have 2/5 Dark Shadows parts uploaded and finished! (They are drafts so no you can't peek!) The last 3 parts are semi-short so I should get them done pretty soon.

This pic is one I took from the courthouse of my small little town, looking down at main street. I love living in a small town, never could understand why some people act like it's a bad thing. I love to travel too but there's always that feeling I get when I see those familiar mountains after going anywhere that reminds you you're almost home.

Want to wish everyone a safe and happy new year, I will be away until after the first, so no updates until then. Here's a teaser for my legacy family, this is Callie's man, Juan Reamon, leaving her a rose after their date. Got a lot to report on that family but will have to wait until I have a few more shots.

And in bigger news, I only have 5 more parts to finish Dark Shadows! Woo Hoo! But that also means it's almost over. :(

I have decided to write and sim the last few parts back to back, so nobody will have to wait a month in between, it just would not work that way. I think I will post them maybe a couple days apart to let everyone catch up, then I will probably take a short break to play with the Morris family before continuing my simfic50. But I do have all prompts except for 2 written out, so no worries on finishing that, I'm looking forward to doing some shorter stories!

I am also working on a historical romance to try and publish, I know I'm crazy doing so many things at once, I have started selling my photos again on Etsy, so I'm stretching my creativity all over the place, bear with me! :)

Actually posted an update before the holiday! (Here) Not a good one for the season considering it's the prompt "Hatred" but oh well, it's what was next!

Probably the last post before the 25th, so I want to officially wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I took a little time off to let Nate and Fran enjoy some time together, what could she be receiving in such a tiny box, hmmm? Use your imagination, I'll never tell! LOL! Maybe Nate was an extra good boy and got her some Levian Chocolate Diamonds like I want for Christmas! Ha ha! (OK that was lame but I LOVE that collection of jewelry, they are just gorgeous!)

I hope to update Dark Shadows one more time before Christmas, if not, Merry Christmas everyone!

One thing I would like to share, forgot where I learned this but the picture quality I notice is better when you don't have the little square in the upper left corner that shows what they are doing. I have no idea why it matters but it does, the ones I have that are there, the pic is fuzzy for some reason. So since there are so many sims on the lot I usually can't pick an inactive one, I go to buy mode and click the design tool, then hit tab and take the shot. It makes that square disappear and the shot looks fine, really!

And has anyone else figured out what is up with Blogger? The past two times now I've uploaded shots the same way I always do and they are out of order. I thought the first time it was me since I did it super fast and wasn't paying that close of attention until I went to fix the sizes. Have they changed the upload order again and not told anyone?

Looking so forward to the snow, I thought I'd put up my old header to bring us some, sick of the warm winter days we've had, only one day of snow flurries so far which is really odd for this time of year.

Updated Dark Shadows, here. Really short update and got it done faster than I thought thankfully. Not much else to report, played with the Morris family for a while but still want a few more pics before I update that.

Leaving for FL in a few days, trying to fight off a cold so I can actually have fun, going to my cousin's wedding and get to see some family I hardly ever get to.

Updated Dark Shadows, here! A shorter one, 600 or so words. Only 9 parts left to finish off this story, then I'll most likely be moving on to finish the simfic50 challenge with a few side stories I have sketched out.

Just noticed it has been 7 month since I updated my Morris family! I have some shots taken but not enough to update so I suppose I may post one in between the next DS chapter. I still like the reprieve of playing every so often so I hope I can continue to play with them and have fun, even if no one is really following it anymore!

I want to throw another big thank you out to the ones who still read this stuff. I hope to have something published one day and this is really helpful to me to practice and gain feedback, so I always appreciate the comments. I may not have another update for a while, got a busy month coming up and going away again in a little under 2 weeks, then the holidays are coming which make it hard to concentrate on sims stuff, so thanks to everyone for bearing with me!

First, many apologies for the excruciatingly long wait, I have updated DS here.
I also added the last bio for the last introduced character, Blake Livingston, Janet's personal assistant.

So yeah, it took me 2 months to get this out, sooooo sad. I've been sick for almost 2 weeks, can't seem to ditch the sniffles and everyone who gave me the cold has long since been over it. Bleh.

Going to the beach on Friday for 4 nights, so that will probably push back my updating a little, again. I really wish I could maintain the weekly (sometimes twice weekly) updates that I used to but RL has other plans. I was thinking how strange the community has become since I started my blog, weekly updaters like myself have gone to once a month or longer and some haven't updated in over a year. Good writers too, each and every story I followed I loved to see what they were going to come up with next.

So, yes I'm a little sad reminiscing about my simming buddies that are vanishing, I hope I don't fall into that category until I can wrap a nice little "finished" bow on the things I've started at least. I will say I'm planning on trying for another baby later this year, probably November, have NO idea how that will affect my writing this go around. Last time I did okay because really I just had to take care of me, now there's a bouncing 2 1/2 year old to keep up with!

Times change and all we can do is go with it, I suppose.

So, once again I noticed my last post was a month ago, and before I write anything else, let me put up the update link in case I forget. (here) It's a longer one and another murder scene, so be forewarned there is more fake blood and a lot more swearing than usual. I think.

Also added the crazy Christina's bio, here. Not really any surprises but I wanted to include all major characters. :)

Now onwards...

I would like to apologize to the loyal readers I have for lagging in updates, I'm not happy with it either, trust me! I wish I could manage weekly updates, for one to actually finish this story and the simfic50 challenge. I am hoping before October, I have possible major plans in action around then and stress would not be welcome!

I'm just too busy. Too much going on, good and bad...drama, drama, and more drama. And just when you get over the last one...more drama! I have had a rough few months in personal stuff, finding out family isn't what it's supposed to be (thankfully extended family but it doesn't feel great to find out nonetheless) It's just one thing after another lately and among it all I'm still trying to be a great mom to a bouncing two year old!

Also hubby is back on night shift, so that in itself has turned everything upside down for us, he is at home sleeping four days in a row and then off bugging me for three days. It's hard to keep a kid quiet all day, so needless to say that has been hard, trying to find things to do outside of the house when it's a sweltering 100 degrees and forget trying to clean or do anything productive inside that makes too much noise. Yeah, I don't like it and he's stuck with this schedule for at least 10 or 11 more months. Ugh.

And totally irrelevant but someone could have mentioned to me that potty training feels pretty darn impossible! I realize he won't "graduate in diapers" like everyone loves to joke but Lord! I have a stubborn one on my hands, he goes back and forth every day whether he cares if anything is in his pull ups or not, so that's my little rant for the day! LOL.

And since I can't seem to pop on more than once a month, that's why this is so long, had to get a lot out so sorry if you actually took time to read this! :D

I am only 13 parts away from finishing this story! Hard to believe! I almost wish I had more written, I will miss these characters but I'm also looking forward to the other smaller stories I have plotted to round out my simfic50. And speaking of which, I am only 3 parts away from being half finished with that, so I am kind of excited, I like reaching milestones! (Even small ones like that, yes I am pathetic! LOL)

Beach House for Download

Got a building bug yesterday and spent the better part of it making a new beach house for all to download. It is based on a plan called "Palm Lily" and I couldn't find a decent pic of the real house so just know that I did try! Hey, at least what I changed nobody will know about, right? LOL.

On a complete side note, I swear I saw the exact house at Myrtle Beach, right near the ocean, which is where the one in the pic I used is, you can see waves in the background. Who knows, that would be cool if I did actually see the same exact house but I really loved the look of it and wanted to give it a try anyway.
I had to change the windows, if you don't have Olemantikers' "The Breeze" set, you can find them here. It's a free download and they also have new recolors of them, I just adore these windows, especially looking from the inside out.

I can't find the link for the windows with the open shutters, they are Olemantiker's as well but used to be on Insiminator. They are included in a lot from MTS, here. They are called, Lamellenfenster "mediterran", if anyone can find them, let me know where!
But you can always use your own windows, I just like these.

First floor, two car garage and space in between for whatever. I tried to use as little furnishings as possible, just enough to show what rooms are what.
Foyer and staircase, for the interior and some windows I used the Georgian Manor Set (some of my favorites) by phoenix phaerie at MTS. If you don't have it already, it's here.
Living room, two stories, has back deck that overlooks the beach. The furniture is part of the beach series from ATS, but I figured anyone would change it anyway, so no point unless you really want it.

Kitchen/Dining, if you notice I did not finish the ceilings, forgot to do that by the time I was done and had already packaged the lot, so I would suggest looking at that and doing what you want, sorry!
Master bedroom, has good size bathroom and deck that joins the larger one.
Upstairs view, landing that overlooks the living room and one of the two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom.
Second bedroom

Custom content used, mostly walls and floors that will show up, I think I have included most links you'll need except the decorative stuff. I got all the palm trees from alex_stanton1983 at MTS, his creations are here.

I have all EP's up to Apartment Life, don't have M&G. I play tested it and everything works fine, the one thing I didn't get a chance to check was with the weather, I used the manual roof tool, so if I missed one tile, the rain will get inside. Hopefully not but if it happens, floor tiles should fix it.

Posted an update here, graphic blood and nudity which is why I waited until after Christmas to post this, I just thought it was too depressing to ruin the holiday spirit I was in!

Wishing a happy new year to everyone, I started the simfic50 challenge in July of '09, can't believe it has been that long already and I actually still have people who read and leave me comments. Thank you to everyone who has supported me not only this past year but the time before that as well, I have gained so much courage to post my work online through the numerous comments and great advice/feedback I have received.

Vacation Pics

A little late but I got busy and sort of forgot! These are from our short little vacation to Kentucky, we had a pretty awesome time even though it was kind of cold!
Gorgeous horse getting a bath in the Kentucky Horse Park, there was still a lot to see other than the event we went for, we spent the better part of the day walking around.
Gypsy Stallion, I love these, so pretty!
These are from the jumping event, Speed Competition. USA came in 1st and 2nd beating everybody! It really was awesome, the two guys from US had clean rounds of course but their time was just untouchable by most everyone else and they all also knocked down at least one pole, not many clean rounds to be had on that day.

Awards, I believe the two on the left are the guys from the US who won but I could be wrong and it was getting dark so the pics were coming out blurry by then! (and my whole body was just about frozen solid, stupidly left the big jacket in the car! LOL.)

This is Clinton Anderson, a celebrity in the horse world famous for his teaching methods, my hubby was especially excited to see him, he watches his show all the time.

That's about it, had a lot of photos to shuffle through but just picked the best ones. Settling back into the groove, hope to update Dark Shadows again soon!

I am back from our vacation and got an update done! Find it here.

A HUGE thank you to Gayl for reminding me about shutting down the processes, I shut down the McAfee and the game plays at least 75% faster, no lie, even on highest graphics! So this update only took me a few hours instead of all day! Still no new memory yet but I can't imagine how fast it will be when I get it.

Will post some vacation pics later when I get a chance, I wanted to get this done first. Hope you enjoy the update, it was a little sad for me to write, nearly cried but that's what I get for being so attached to my characters! LOL.

Short Vacation

No I'm not taking another sims break *gasp* LOL! I am actually going away for a few days, the excitement finally getting to me now that I'm realizing how fast the time is coming, will be gone from Sunday to Wednesday and hope to have another simfic50 update when I return (am going to try to get it typed up before I go, fingers crossed!)

So where am I off to you ask? Well, you probably didn't but I'll tell you anyway! Going off to Kentucky again, to the same place we went last time, the Kentucky Horse Park but this time there is something way more exciting happening there, the World Equestrian Games, major big deal for horse lovers like my husband and I and it only happens every 4 years and this is the first and probably only time it will be held in the US, so since it's only about a 5 hour drive you can imagine how excited we are to go. Will be doing a couple other things as well, will post some pics when I get back.

The Hermit Emerges...

LOL, okay not quite a hermit but sometimes I feel like one when I neglect my blog and simmie friends so. :(

And I have struggled whether or not to post this but honestly if I follow your stories, I think you may already know that I've kind of dropped off the face of the planet on that front! So today I am officially retiring as a sim story reader. If I leave you a comment in the future, as I just might if I find the spare time to catch up on stories I truly love, then I hope you enjoy them. I really hate to do this because I believe in the support this community gives, after all, I adore getting comments and feedback on my work, so it's only right that I support my fellow simmers. However, I just can't find the time for it anymore, I have gotten too far behind, I'm talking years on some stories, in terms of when they updated and to me, that's just too far behind to be helped.

So I came to this decision after I realized that reading is taking away from my writing which is far more important to me, I would feel terrible if I let down my readers by not finishing what I've started and it is not inside me to quit, I hate quitting. Which is how I feel about giving up on reading but right now, it's something I have to do, RL is just getting too busy and hectic to take the time the stories I follow deserve, so I am either taking a permanent break or maybe just a long one and see how I feel about jumping back in later. I will leave up the blogs I follow to recommend them to other readers because I want to really stress this: I have appreciated and enjoyed meeting everyone I have through writing these sims stories and I can't express the joy that it has given me to swap comments with you all these past two years or so and I admire and respect everything each one of you have done.

I truly hope nobody is offended if I stop reading their work, it is nothing personal against any writer in particular, it's just something I feel will take a little stress off me right now, which I really need! LOL.

*Hugs* I hope everybody enjoys their Labor Day weekend, I can't say when the next update will be, I'm hoping soon but I have a lot of stuff going on right now, not much time to play around, obviously! :(

I also have a little surprise bonus that I posted at my short stories blog that was inspired completely by Van's (Dinuriel) comment on Ch. 4. You'll just have to check that out to see what she said, it was so hilarious I could barely answer the comment and of course it got my wheels turning! I posted a link to the bonus at the end of Ch. 11 but here it is again, just in case.

Thank you everyone for keeping up with this story, I can't believe it took me over a year to get done but I'm glad I did this, I've never written fantasy before and it really was a lot of fun to try something new.

Well, yet again I have no update. For some reason, I just have not had time. (Maybe spending too much time goofing off in RL? LOL!) And I did sit down to type at the perfect time, baby was napping, hubby was at work and step daughter went out with her friend when they were visiting us. So why no update? Because Blogger decided that it hates me! It would not load any pictures for any blogs, not just mine. Sooooo, yeah. No update as of yet but I am hoping for soon, I don't want to drag this out!

Earth Hour

I had hoped to have an update to post, I have the images uploaded just need to have the time to type! I wanted to give a little shout out to something I participate in, Earth hour. Click the link to find out more, basically the idea is to turn off all unnecessary lights and appliances from 8:30-9:30 pm tonight to conserve energy. A lot of countries and US states have been catching on and I think it's a really good thing to practice all the time, not just for today. I never used to care about recycling or anything like that when I was young but if you stop and think about it, we only have one place to live, so we need to take care of it, don't we?

I think I have about 4 more parts left for this story to wrap up nicely. So, I am probably going to put my other stories on hold until I finish this one, which I hope to update at least every 2 weeks, if not every week. After that, I want to focus more on my simfic50, since there are so many prompts I still have to do, I don't want the challenge to take me 8 years to do! LOL. Finding my groove again...I have posted a short photoshoot at my photo blog, which got a little makeover since I had decided to keep doing this. When I created the blog, the idea was supposed to be a going away gift because I thought I was done. Well obviously I'm not, so I felt that it needed a little change. Anyway, you don't know these two yet but I've been wanting to do another photoshoot and mess around a bit with poses and I finally did it, can't believe it had been a year almost since I did one of these!

So who are they, you ask? Well, all I can say is that she is a celebrity named Alegra and they will make their debut soon I hope, in one of my simfic50 tales. Which by the way I am hoping to update Dark Shadows in the next couple of days, I've been neglecting that one way too much!

Anyways, I am just popping in to let everybody know what I'm going to be up to which may or may not change my updating, I am working on a RL project to sell, so I am probably going to not be able to update for about a month or so but I may be able to sneak in a day to update in there, who knows. Just giving a heads up, I probably won't have much time to read or comment either but I will get to where I can, I have a huge behind list I'm trying to make shorter! And when I get sick of working on my project, I'll probably procrastinate and go back to the game! LOL.

Holiday Update!

This is without doubt my last post of the year, I am pretty certain I won't be able to update again until after the holidays, so hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and hope you all enjoy the new year!

And a bonus, a few of you were trying to figure this out after my last Dark Shadows update, so I figured I would just let the cat out of the bag. (small cat and small bag but it was a fun secret for me anyway!)

Nathan Davis is Luke's son from Deadly Obsession! Dun, dun, dun! LOL. I know, who would have thought Luke would ever mature enough to have a child! Ha ha! Nate is a couple of years younger than John and Leslie's youngest daughter (who you'll meet next chapter) and he is my male lead in this story. And if you noticed in his conversation with the female cop in the last update, his attitude towards women is somewhat similar to dad's. :D

Now to explain. I deleted, yes deleted! Luke after I was done with D.O.! Stupid? Yeah, but I thought that any sequel would be about John & Leslie, so I deleted all my other characters but them. Soooo, had to make Nathan here from scratch and the bad part is, I didn't find these pics of Luke until after I started the story. The one I made Nate off of was a far away shot of him, so I couldn't really see the details that great.

Like obviously, I got the eye color wrong, I could have sworn Luke had dark eyes, not so apparently. I never really showed him in a closeup though, I couldn't really remember! So I guess I did okay with the rest. I thought I had done really good until I found these pics! :D

I guess they look pretty close, but I see a lot of differences, like Nate's jawline in this one is way different from Luke's but I think it's the angle, in the first pic it looks pretty similar. Let's just say he takes after his...mom! Who never actually existed! LMAO.

I also want to say that I admire anyone who does this storytelling thing and keeps up with reading and RL. I don't have a job, so I can't imagine how those of you that have kids and have to work actually update like you do, those of you that do are amazing!

Announcement of Sorts

Soooo...after almost a month of not posting anything, I'm sure some of you are wondering where I disappeared off to. Let's just say that I've hit a brick wall head on where posting is concerned. I am not in a slump or anything, just super, super short on sims time. I just can't seem to find that groove that is so important when it comes to updating.

I have a Morris update half finished, has been for a couple of weeks now and I just can't motivate myself to go back to it. Encouragement is appreciated, please!

Thank you to everyone for continuing to read, I have about 2-3 hours a day if that to devote to this and here lately I've been using that time for more important things and getting distracted by shiny things elsewhere. So I do apologize for the huge lapse in posting, I really will try in the next weeks to get back into things.

I do think that when I finish the three current stories here I may take a huge break, between following so many blogs and updating my own, I'm seriously stretched thin on time for those kinds of things amidst trying to take care of housework and baby.

Thanks again to those who like what I do and continue to support me, I appreciate it very much.

Yeah, been up to a lot of that lately. Well not really but as far as anything sims related...been putting it off. I wish I could say when I would have an update out but right now I'm just not sure. I would like to get at least one out before I leave for a week in about 2 weeks but I can't promise, I'm not really wanting to even load up the game right now let alone take any shots. Which sucks because I got a 32 part simfic50 story written out, well summarized anyway and I can start posting that as soon as I find some more CC and finish building lots, making characters and getting things in order. *sigh* someday...this week though for some reason, just haven't had the drive for it. Tomorrow is out, gotta get groceries and take puppy to the vet, I doubt I'll have time then, maybe Friday, who knows.

My sister got me hooked on Facebook games, so if you have an account there, look me up - I've been on everyday wasting time playing silly (and I mean silly) games!

Song Choice of the Week

It's Sunday, that means a new song and I was going to pick Janet Jackson but I figured in light of Michael dying recently I would pay a small tribute, even though I love me some Janet! Maybe I'll pick her next week. :D

When I first heard about his death, I wasn't all that interested, these things happen and let's face it, in recent years the man had been way less than what he used to be and was downright scary looking with all that he'd done to himself. But then I started watching some of the bits on TV of his previous years and that's how I am going to remember him, not the weird, sad person he had become.

And small update, I worked a little while yesterday on getting shots for Clue, might have that posted this week *fingers crossed* and I realized why I hate doing updates for that story, there are 10 people on the lot, it's huge so it plays slowly, and almost every shot has to have some kind of pose or animation to look right. Who wants to show 8 people in a room standing with their arms folded or down at their sides? Not me. And it becomes so tiring to search for that perfect animation to get an arm reaching for just the right height and what not. That's why I am having trouble with this one, that and I re-wrote the ending several times and am still not sure it's good enough. Oh well, will take a large, deep breath when this one's over, it sure has been a long ride for a "short story". LOL, never thought it would take me THIS long! :D

Back 2 Basics & Announcement

Sorry I forgot to announce this, if anyone was wondering...I decided after much thought to delete the website. It was a passing whimsy for me I believe and if the itch ever presents itself again, I will offer downloads here at my blog. I just do not have the time anymore to keep up a separate website and am in reality losing most interest I've had with the game and have fallen into a black pit where anything sims related is concerned. One that I really don't care if I get out of at the moment...

That said, I will finish anything I have started, do not worry yourself there! But the motivation to do so is gone, I am really enjoying REAL life right now and it's become a chore to update one of these stories I am doing in particular. (You know, the one that is hanging in the air patiently waiting to be finished. *Cough* Clue *Cough, Cough*) Right now I am not positive what I am going to do after I finish my current stories, I did have one more I wanted to do but I think I will wait to start it after I have no more current ones, cannot handle doing multiples anymore. I was also thinking about leaving the Alliance...but since there are no deadlines and the atmosphere is really laid back, I think I will stay on. At least until I finish up my current stories.

I was thinking of wrapping up the Morris legacy with Adam, after he dies but haven't really decided, I cannot see how I will keep up the interest for 10 generations! I just hope that story continues to be fun for me and doesn't become laborious to update, so far it hasn't been but that is definitely my sideline, I am not doing that story to express myself as a writer, it's purely for fun to tell the story I am playing with their family.

To everyone who reads this stuff I put out there, thank you and keep an eye out here for any updates, I am definitely on the fence as to how much longer I will be doing this. I have toyed with the idea of changing the name of my blog to include other things I post here, because let's face it, a lot of posts here are way off topic of the sims! And in the future, I may not be doing much storytelling but I love having a blog to let everyone know what's going on with me. (If anyone really cares, not sure they do!) :D

Thank you all, I have to say that leaving one community for another was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I love the endless support and strength you all have given over the past year or so.

Meet my new self simmie! Got to say, she looks way different from the last one I did, but closer to me actually. No hairstyle that is like mine though, so I picked the closest, I'm in the process of growing it again. :D

And yeah, more of the dirty P word. I'm putting off any and every update I can right now. As you can see, fiddling with the blog distracts me! I think tomorrow I may play with the Morris' so I can actually continue with that story some time soon. Hopefully, someday I will get back to Seth as well! I love that story and wish I had more time to work on it. And then there's another one that keeps gnawing at my head to come out and I already made a cast of characters in BodyShop! Varuna Ch.2 and bonus!

After 3 days of trying, Chapter Two of Kingdom of Varuna is posted!

On a side note, sorry if some of the pictures are not as good, I used the in game for the first few and Gadwin for the rest, also there is one shot with rain that doesn't fit in because I had to try 3 times to get certain shots. Although, no one but me would probably have even noticed!

Here's some bonus shots, Seth's house is not going to be featured again except for a few pics at the very end, so...I wanted to share since I spent so much time making it purty!

Finally, the study. I really love this house, maybe I can fudge a bedroom on the roof without ruining the design! Or at LEAST use it in a flashback!

I'm Back!

I'm back from my short weekend getaway and could not have had a better time! Okay, I confess that I could have slept better if the couple that was next door in our hotel room would not have been out in the hallway yelling and cursing at each other at midnight, but oh well, what are you to do?!

Mostly we just went to see the horse show, we missed the day they were going for $450,000, that probably would have been awesome! However, the last day we went was pretty exciting because they had the first ever puissance held in Charlotte and we got to see it! The guy that won the $25,000 jumped the wall at 7 feet and it was absolutely gorgeous, scary and amazing all at the same time!

I will try to catch up on updates as soon as I can, I want to try and get to Kingdom of Varuna maybe today, I need to get back into that one before I lose interest! Here's a couple pics for you, I was too excited watching to really bother taking pics but these came out okay, so thought I'd share!

It started with a sim that I cloned from dear old Gabe from SB and Gayl's stories, he married a townie named Allyn and they had one son, Adam, who the story starts around. I am no longer even visiting the site and deleted all my stories there, wish I could delete my creations as well but according to them, THEY own them, not me. I did know that when I uploaded but back then, I really didn't see any problems with the site. I have also for some time now thought it was wrong-not illegal like the pirates, but just plain wrong, to charge anyone for custom content. And I used to be a subscriber!

And I have downloaded from PMBD, sorry if that offends anyone, I don't think anything this trivial is worth my money anymore as it really is getting out of hand how greedy everyone is. I paid enough for the damn games! lol. I also did not know that FA's get paid! Here I thought all that subscription money goes to the site fees for operating and bandwidth, that I understand but not paying the artists. I totally understand how it would feel to have someone steal what you have created but if the babies at T$R would offer at least some good stuff for free and ditch the whole FA, SA thing, I doubt they would be viewed as evil as they are in most other sims communities.

Not to mention the latest atrocities of their new posts: responding to "myths and lies" and the "booty search". Holy cow, how juvenile can they get? And if anyone cannot read through the lines of the booty search, you need glasses. If Thomas didn't do what he's accused of, what has he got to defend against?

In my opinion, their stuff is not even that great. I have found much more beautiful, FREE stuff elsewhere on the web. Which brings me to another point to ponder: Why some people upload to T$R and other free sites too? One in particular comes to mind from MTS2 and I've always loved her stuff but wondered why if she demands her stuff remains free to download, um-T$R isn't free!

Enough ranting, *sigh* just wanted to throw that out there, I am getting too old for he said, she said, she stole my sort of nice looking creation and posted it here and there, blah, blah, blah.

And absolutely no offense to my good mate Karen, who is a SA and she does deserve the recognition, believe me! I know you have no problem with them Karen and like I said, this is just me. It used to be a great community, that is where I met my alliance friends and I'm very thankful for that! I am just fed up with the back and forth crap and I've seen enough artists leave that it made me wonder if the so-called slander against them was true. I also don't intend on this being a huge deal, I'm just sick of it, that is all. I just want to play, have fun, and leave the drama for somebody else's mama.

For those of you who are moms too, I know you know that it is the most unique feeling in the world. I never dreamed it would feel like this, I mean I knew I would love him but...it's really incredible just how much. He has started smiling while looking at me and I really can't take how cute it is and it is just the best feeling knowing that he must be happy, which makes me happy! I know being a mom isn't for everyone and it is the hardest thing in the world to put someone above yourself completely but I honestly wouldn't change it for anything. While this is EXTREMELY off topic of simmies, I had to just share with someone how happy I have been these past couple of days now that he's starting to examine things and maybe realizing that I'm his mommy. Or at least the person he sees everyday, lol!

So I was extremely bored and wanted to mess around with the pose boxes that Phoenix found so...loaded up the game and made these two beauties. I wondered how good looking I could make them using only the Maxis bases in the game. They started out the random sims that show up when you first load the create a family screen with minor tweaking of the face, I swear! All the rest is just good old CC. They really turned out gorgeous considering! :D
I named them Kristian and Sasilia Evanovich and they honestly look too good to not use in the future. They look Russian to me for some reason. Oh well, posted a photo shoot of them, go have a look see!

This story is mostly for fun, as you will see as the story progresses. Most of the characters are well...a little different. :D

This is the main character from that fantasy style story I hope to get to someday! I have a bit written and have the neighborhood set up and some characters made. It will be sort of like The Chronicles of Narnia with several different tales throughout generations, starting with Seth. I have his blog all set up and really cannot wait to get the time to do this one.
The Kingdom of Varuna

Now for the short story...I am redoing the Clue story I did for TSR so long ago that was done before I knew how to take good pics and all that good stuff. I also wasn't very serious about it and it shows, if anyone read it I apologize! :D So here are the characters that will be used, it will follow some plots from the movie Clue with Tim Curry if anyone has seen it, one of my favorite movies! Also with a little added stuff of my own. Got the house built yesterday, just need to decorate and put some finishing touches on the storyline.

Wadsworth you may recognize from Daffodils...it is Gary, he was just too hunky that I wanted to use him again!
Inspector Brown, not in the movie or the original board game but he is in a few variations so he will be in my story as well! He is also a sim I downloaded, from insiminator I think-Channing Tatum from Step Up, I thought they really made him look unique so I put him in too.

Not sure when I will get to these, hopefully within a few weeks!

Bon Voyage!

Hello everyone, got back from the hospital yesterday evening and had a moment to pay some bills online so I thought I would go ahead and update here as well. Had my c-section Wednesday but it wasn't the planned one, my water broke the night before and his head was up in my ribcage, so they went ahead with the surgery. Everything went fine, we even got to come home a little early. I was almost lucky that his head was up because he weighed 8lb. 0oz. and was 20in. long with a 14in. head, so vaginal delivery would have been horrific with that size! We named him Tyler James and he is just the cutest baby you've ever seen (no prejudice there, lol!). Will have to post a few pics on my photo blog when I get the chance.

Can't estimate when I'll get back into writing so until further notice, I'm out of commission for a while. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers throughout my pregnancy and for continuing to read my stories, I appreciate them all very much.

Surprise! White Daffodils for Lily is now completed! I posted the last 3 chapters, which I actually merged into 2 since the last one was pretty short. I did not expect to get this done, so don't think I was teasing you when I said it would be a while before I updated again! Thank you everyone who has read, even if you haven't commented. I have loved working on this story and am a little sad to see it end! Stay tuned here for anything I do in the future, I'm not hanging it up just yet!

Chapter eleven is now posted! Wanted to get this one done as it's a tad longer than the remaining ones. The good news is that I have ALL the shots taken that I need for the rest of the story. The bad news is that this will probably be the last update for a while, only have a week before my due date and have to see my doctor tomorrow about the possibility of scheduling a c-section, the baby is still in a breech position (head up instead of down) and not sure what will happen from this point on. Thank you all for sticking with me and I will try not to wait too long in between chapters!

Chapter ten is now posted! Sorry it took me almost a month to get to this one, it's a little short but it's like a transition to the last arc of the storyline. Just an update, it may be a while before I post chapter 11, I want to finish Wheelman first and I only have 13 days left until my due date! I hope you all will be patient with me after the baby comes, I'm afraid I won't have much spare time to post but I am not the kind to leave something half finished, so you can count on me finishing this story, just haven't a clue when! I will work on getting as many shots before hand that I can to help the posting process but bear with me if I don't update as often as I know you all want! ~Emily

Morris Legacy, Gen.1~X Post

Okay, already posted this at the Alliance but I figured for future purposes I would start posting an update on the legacy challenge I'm playing. I named the family 'Morris' (out of the phonebook, nothing significant!) and started with dear old Gabriel. So far, he married Allyn from the garden club, had one son I named Adam. To make name choosing easier I decided to go with the alphabet theme, so next child will be named with a 'B'. Adam has grown up and is currently in university, I broke the rules on that one, they are supposed to stay on the legacy lot but I am keeping track and playing the house the same amount of days he is gone and will move him back in once he graduates. Gabe & Allyn are both elders now (will post pic of Grandpa Gabe when their son comes back from college!), got Gabe promoted to Captain Hero and he's now retired, lol. I know, Gabe - retired! :D

Current score: 5
1 for each generation (Gabe, Adam)=2
1 for every impossible want (Gabe's, Allyn's)=2
1 for each different NPC you have kids with (Garden Club)=1

Special Bonuses at the end of the challenge:
2 if all career objects are on the lot (Police, 1/10)

Not really sure the highest possible end score since there are negatives that could happen along the way but I really am not interested in that part anyway, it should be fun to see if I actually make it to generation 10!

As you can see by this picture, things get steamy between TC and Candy, bring your fans along!

Wishing everyone a safe and merry Christmas! Played around with my self sims and they had a baby girl :P
She is very cute and has daddy's hair color and mommy's eyes and somebody's nose, lol! I named her Allison which is what we had decided if we had a girl but we just had another ultrasound and not much chance of that happening! :D
We're going to try again in 3-4 years, so maybe then! :D
